Kerb Painting Machine

Kerb Painting Machine

A Road Kerb Painting Machine is a sophisticated piece of equipment used for the application of markings along road edges, intersections, and pedestrian pathways. It operates using advanced airless spraying technology to ensure uniform and durable application of paint or thermoplastic materials.

Road kerb painting machines utilize high-pressure pumps that propel the marking material through a nozzle, ensuring precise, efficient, and consistent coverage on road surfaces.

Methods of Painting Kerb Stone

1. Paint Road Kerbs by Hand with Brush and Tape

This traditional method involves manual application using brushes and tape. After cleaning the curb stone surface with a wire brush, workers apply paint manually, often using tape to separate different colors. While this method allows precise detailing, it is time-consuming and results in higher paint consumption and labor costs.

2. Paint Kerb with Paint Sprayer Machine & Template Application

To improve efficiency, workers use spray guns along with templates to paint curb stones. Templates help maintain clean edges during spraying. Light colors are applied first, allowed to dry, and then darker colors are sprayed using templates. Although faster than hand painting, this method still requires careful template positioning and can be labor-intensive.

3. Paint Road Curb Stones with Single Gun Cold Paint Line Striper

For lower curb stones, a single-gun cold paint line striper is used. Workers push the machine along the curb to spray paint. Light colors are applied first, followed by darker colors. In some cases, two machines may be used simultaneously for different colors. Hand-held spray guns may be required for taller curb stones.

4. Paint Concrete Road Kerb with Double Guns Cold Spray Road Marking Machine

Double-gun hydraulic cold spray road marking machines offer higher efficiency with larger flow rates and stable pressure. These machines allow spraying of ordinary curb stones with single or double guns. For two-color markings such as yellow and black, yellow is applied first, followed by black.

5. Paint Skip-Line / Double Road Kerb Lines with Dual Color Cold Paint Road Marking Machine

Dual-color cold paint road marking machines streamline the marking process with automatic skip-line functions. These machines can apply yellow and black curb markings in a single pass, significantly reducing construction time and labor costs. With large flow rates and compatibility with line drivers, they ensure precise and efficient marking.
